Licensed esthetician Sabrina Kim of Soulcare Standard invites you to slow down and embody beauty beyond the surface. We’ll begin with grounding tea before moving into an intimate, hands-on ritual rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. We’ll explore the origins of gua sha, dispel common myths, and deepen your understanding of its energetic and physical benefits. Each guest will receive a take-home gua sha kit with botanical facial products. Steamed and dry towels provided; bare skin encouraged.

basic principles of ikebana workshop
12:00pm - 01:30pm / 90 minvy.lan atelier is a San Diego-based floral studio founded by Jacqueline Nguyen, a second-generation Vietnamese American designer specializing in ikebana arrangements. Rooted in mindfulness and intention, each design is a quiet meditation on balance, form, and cultural storytelling. Named after her Vietnamese namesake meaning “orchid,” vy.lan atelier invites moments of stillness, connection, and grace through the art of floral design. In this workshop, participants will be taught an introductory lesson on the basic principles of ikebana using live demonstration and hands-on practice. All participants will be able to take home with them their very own ikebana arrangement using this season’s spring flower offerings.

A sacred space for self-exploration and self-expression of our aanhpi identities + experiences. Cultivating stillness with gentle movement, sound bath meditation, and guided journaling. Rooted in representation, we’ll slow down to nurture the mind-body-soul connection where the language of yoga + sound is inclusive, accessible, and digestible. This two-part workshop (beginner-friendly) includes: welcome tea, mats, blankets, & journaling materials.
04:00pm - 05:30pm / 90 minspiritual + energetic maintenance
This workshop will offer self-regulation techniques & energetic hygiene practices, meditation and spiritualism rooted in Filipino, Chinese & Indian cultural medicine. We may touch on self massage, energy clearing, breath work, divination and herbal remedies to soothe the body, mind & spirit. Come with an open heart, a curiosity for the unseen & an interest in connecting with the natural elements that are around us every day.
